Relocation Support in Ras Al Khaimah

Practical help for people moving to Ras Al Khaimah: choosing an area, viewings, paperwork, utilities and schools.

Overview

We are a Ras Al Khaimah agency based in Al Nakheel, so relocation help is something we do alongside the letting or the purchase rather than a separate product. Most people arriving need the same six things sorted in the same order, and knowing that order saves a fortnight.

What we help with

Choosing the area. Al Hamra Village for golf, beach and an established family crowd. Al Marjan Island for waterfront apartments and holiday-let income. Mina Al Arab for lagoon-side villas and the nature reserve. Al Nakheel for lower rents and a short drive to the city’s offices and hospitals. We will tell you which one fits your commute and budget rather than showing you everything.

Viewings. A half-day of properties across two or three communities, in the order that makes sense geographically, with the drive times as you go.

The paperwork. Tenancy contract, attestation with RAK Municipality, cheque arrangements, security deposit and the handover inventory. See our guide on registering a tenancy contract in Ras Al Khaimah.

Utilities and connections. Etihad Water and Electricity for water and power, which is the body that used to be called FEWA, plus internet and the community access cards or parking permits your building issues. The supply will not be activated until the tenancy is registered, so the two happen together.

Schools. A shortlist by curriculum and drive time from the areas you are considering, with current fee bands. We do not take referral fees from schools.

Furnishing. If the property is unfurnished, one of our furniture packages can be delivered and installed before you land.

Getting started

Send us your budget, your start date, how many bedrooms you need and where you will be working. We will come back with three or four properties worth your time and a plan for the week you arrive.

Questions people ask

Do you charge for relocation support?

Not when you rent or buy through us. The help described on this page is part of the service. If you want an area tour or school shortlist without a transaction attached, ask and we will quote.

Can you help before I arrive in the UAE?

Yes. Most clients start with a video call, a shortlist by email and video viewings. We hold the paperwork ready so the first trip is for signing, not searching.

How long does it take to move in?

About one to two weeks from choosing a property, allowing for cheques, registering the tenancy with RAK Municipality and getting the Etihad Water and Electricity supply activated.

Not sure which service you need
